Amy Winehouse targeted in kidnapping plot?

Amy Winehouses’ husband Blake Fielder-Civil is finding out how tough prison can be especially when you are well known. Fellow prisoners at London’s Pentonville Prison are working to extort money from Fielder-Civil by threatening to kidnap and do harm to his wife Amy Winehouse. With Winehouse seen photographed earlier this month leaving her house alone in the middle of the night stoned to the bone, she is an easy mark to get grabbed and Fielder-Civil knows it and worse for him his fellow inmates know it.
The ranson demands are said to be $200,000 (£100,000).
“They’ve ordered Blake to pay the 100 grand ($200,000; £100,000) into a secret bank account within the next few days or else… and Amy will be snatched and harmed. She’s at her weakest right now, and what with her wandering the streets in the dead of night she’s at a massive risk.”
His fellow inmates are making life as tough as possible on the 25-year-old Blake, on remand in Pentonville to soften him up and force him to give in to their demands.
He had gone cold turkey and kicked heroin behind bars but reportedly got tempted and pressured by his enemies inside to get back on heroin. Then of course Blake got busted in a ‘random spot check’ that proved positive for Class A drugs. As punishment he was moved from the prison’s general G wing to the secure D1 unit where he will now spend Christmas with sex offenders and police informants who are automatically targeted.
There may be a silver lining to his descent in this isolated unit. Blake will now find it more difficult to get his hands on drugs and the guards will be keeping a much closer eye on him”, which may help to keep him safe. Reportedly he also got word to Winehouse, of the urgent threat to her safety. Now on bail, Amy has allegedly promised to lie low. Perhaps in the long run this experience will help Amy and Blake appreciate what they have and how close they are to throwing it all away.
