“Boy Meets World,” star Topanga arrested

Another child star gets in trouble. Danielle Fishel, best known for her role as Topanga on ABC’s “Boy Meets World,” was arrested early Thursday morning on a drunken driving warrant out of Los Angeles County.
Fishel, a teenage heartthrob was arrested just before 5 a.m. after officers stopped a car she was in near San Joaquin Hills Road and Jamboree Road, said Newport Beach Sgt. James Rocker. Fishel was released from jail shortly after her arrest.
Fishel, who grew up in Yorba Linda, spent more than seven years playing Topanga, the love interest of “Boy Meet’s World” star Fred Savage.
in 2006, Fishel became the spokeswoman for NutriSystem after she announced on The Tyra Banks show that she had lost 20 pounds on the diet program and that she wanted to be the company’s spokeswoman. In early February 2007, Fishel became a special correspondent for the Tyra Banks show.
