Christina Aguilera opts for a Caesarean
Singer Christina Aguilera who recently celebrated her 27th birthday has scheduled a Caesarean section for January 10,2008, according to reports.
Aguilera who is pregnant with her first child and music executive husband Jordan Bratman opted for the C-section to avoid the pain involved with a natural childbirth according to the New York Post.
A source close to the star told The New York Post: “Christina has a C-section scheduled for January 10 but she might need to push the date of the delivery up.” Do you believe Christina decided to have the operation like many celebrities because she doesn’t want to deal with the pain? What about the scar from the surgery?
Meanwhile more baby showers are planned. Despite having a baby shower earlier this month, will be having a second baby shower at the Hotel Bel-Air over Christmas with just her friends.”
Ugg. Scheduled C-Ssections to avoid the “Pain” just annoys me. They should try being induced and having a baby with absolutely no pain medication at all! Try being in labor for numerous hours. Really….it adds to the wonder and miracle of life. Sides, going vaginally there isn’t a scar to worry about….or cover up.
If Christina thinks having a C-Section is going to help her “escape” the pain of childbirth, she’s in for a surprise. Good luck with that.
