Singer Lily Allen is pregnant

British pop star Lily Allen is pregnant with her first child. The 22-year-old ‘Smile’ singer found out she was expecting last month, but only revealed the news to her family until now.
According to reports, Lily & her boyfriend Ed Simons, 37, of the electronic music duo Chemical Brothers who have been dating since September are delighted and will now move in together to care for the baby.
A source close to the singer said: “Lily is thrilled to be pregnant and can’t wait to become a mum. She’s a real family person.
“Ed’s very happy. He is really looking after her.”
In the past, Lily - who’s , Allen’s 2006 debut album, Alright, Still, sold nearly 2 million and currently in the charts with her hit single ‘Oh My God’, has made no secret of her desire to start a family.
The source added: “Lily could not be happier.
“It’s the icing on the cake for what has been an incredible 18 months for her. She is looking forward to finishing her new album early next year and releasing it before the birth of her first child.”
Allen recently started taking her health seriously, shedding pounds after being diagnosed with a heart murmur. But she still has not given up smoking, despite knowing she was pregnant.
Lily is also expecting to follow in the footsteps of Welsh singer & Television presenter Charlotte Church, 22, and branch out into TV in between releasing albums, reports The Sun.
The BBC have signed Lily to front her own TV show Lily Allen and Friends. She is also joining comedian Russell Brand, 32, for a spoof cinema version of classic novel Pride and Prejudice.
