Is Jessica Simpson a curse or does Dallas quarterback Tony Romo play poorly whenever his girlfriends showed up at his games? Romo’s latest A-list girlfriend came to Texas Stadium to see the Dallas Cowboys play their final home game before the playoffs. Romo started 0-for-6 and wasn’t doing much better when he injured his throwing hand in the third quarter. Tim MacMahon, who covers the beat for the Dallas Cowboys at the Dallas Morning News, hinted that Jessica should have left at half-time. (that would have been real supportive) She could have shown understanding, grace and sacrifice for Tony’s sake, for the Dallas Cowboys and the whole of the State of Texas. Yeah right, why would anyone do that! I am not sure if Jessica is a curse to men or not but there is likely a simpler explanation for Tony’s bad performance Sunday. Such as the entire Cowboys team knew before kickoff that this game wasn’t vital to their playoff destiny and they played a little bit flat? Seattle’s loss earlier Sunday gave the Cowboys at least the No. 2 seed in the NFC and a first-round bye.
