Kristopher Bratt, 20, Benjamin Bratt’s nephew, was killed in a freak accident. He died on the spot, in the accident that occurred on early Tuesday morning. His car was rammed from behind by a stolen car. Police were in hot pursuit of the suspected stolen vehicle when it ran a red light and ploughed into Kristopher’s car. Bratt’s un-named passenger also passed away shortly after the accident.
Richard Gosnell, the driver of the stolen car, will face many charges. His offences include manslaughter, hit and run, evasion of police, theft of vehicle, possession of stolen property, speeding and running a red light. Gosnell’s passenger, Joshua Wilson, also faces a few charges. Both men were treated for minor injuries and detained in state custody.
