Jodie Foster’s come out confession?

Was it a slip of the tongue or a careful exit out of the closet? Jodie Foster appeared to have thanked her significant other on Tuesday while receiving an award at the Women in Entertainment Breakfast. The LA Daily News reports that Foster thanked “my beautiful Cydney who sticks with me through all the rotten and the bliss,” which likely refers to her long-rumored partner, Cydney Bernard.

Foster reportedly met Cydney Bernard, on the set of Sommersby in 1993, has steadfastly refused to discuss or publicly acknowledge her relationship . Although Bernard has accompanied her to premieres and public events outside the United States, Foster has never brought her to public events in America.
