Charges dropped against Jonathan Rhys Meyers

Call it the luck of the Irish if you will but Dublin state prosecutors have dropped charges against Jonathan Rhys Meyers, related to his arrest in an airport on November 18.
Meyers was arrested at the Dublin airport for drunken, threatening and abusive behavior and released on $590 bail. Rhys-Meyers was due to appear in court today, but a prosecutor informed the court that the charges were being withdrawn. Rhys Meyers, however, was given a legal caution, a probationary action under which he could face harsher penalties if he behaves that way in public in Ireland again.
In a statement to the court through his solicitor, he said his behaviour was unacceptable, though out of character, and he apologised to the staff of British Midland and airport security.
