It started innocently enough. Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham was originally signed up to model the forthcoming spring/summer 2008 fashion line for fashion designer Marc Jacobs. Once signed up she was asked to get naked for the revered campaign, following in the footsteps of stars including Julianne Moore, Dita Von Teese and Naomi Campbell who have stripped for Jacob’s charity t-shirt collection in the past.  Maybe she should have seen it coming? It’s all for a good cause, to raise money for skin cancer charities. Jacobs raised $60,000 for such good causes in 2006 with the previous line of t-shirts which sold in the designer’s stores for just $5.

A source tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror:

“Victoria loves Marc’s work but wasn’t entirely comfortable with getting naked. Marc went all out to persuade her.”And when she heard about what a great cause it was she knew she just couldn’t turn him down. The picture she and Marc have chosen is amazing - sexy but tasteful.”

Meanwhile Becks and the rest of the Spice Girls have been told “not to give it all away” when it comes to tickets to their shows. Their clebrity pals will need to find tickets on their own like every other fan because the group has been banned from giving away free tickets.
The girl group’s manager Simon Fuller has declared that even Hollywood A-list fans are exempt from receiving passes, forbidding the quintet from inviting guests to any of their 40 concerts on their comeback tour - which has already sold more than 750,000 tickets.
