Madonna, 49, and husband Guy Ritchie, 39, have sent aides to scour Cambodia for a new daughter according to the UK Sun.

Madonna chose Cambodia after seeing how smoothly Angelina Jolie’s adoption went of Maddox, six, from the country in 2002.

Though their adoption of 2-year-old David Banda from Malawi is not yet final the couple has so enjoyed the experience that they have started looking in Cambodia for the next member of their brood

Madonna who also has two biological children, Lourdes, 11, and Rocco, 7, was reportedly looking to adopt a baby girl from Malawi, but after all the red tape involved in David’s adoption, she decided to look elsewhere.

Social welfare officer Simon Chisale, who was the one to write the report praising the singer’s mothering skills, said young David “had bonded well with the Ritchies,” and that it would not be “in the best interest of David” to be returned to his homeland.

His relationship with Guy was particularly noted as being “warm, playful interaction”, whilst Madonna was seen as a “confident and able parent”.

The report both clears the way for the adoption of David to officially go through possibly by next April and to start the hunt for the next member of the Ritchie family.

Actress, Pop singer, Billie Piper, has married her fiancé Laurence Fox in a star-studded ceremony.

The pair tied the knot at the Parish Church of St Mary’s in Easebourne, West Sussex, near their home in Midhurst.
Piper’s ex-husband, radio presenter Chris Evans, and his new wife Natasha Shishmanian were among the wedding guests, as was Dr Who actor David Tennant.  It is believed that the wedding reception is being held at one of Evans’s pubs.

Piper, 25, arrived at the venue in a low-cut ivory wedding dress hidden by a black overcoat . She was followed by four bridesmaids wearing short purple dresses.

The 29-year-old groom thanked photographers who wished him luck as he walked to the church with friends 45 minutes before the service.

The couple met last December when they performed together in Christopher Hampton’s play Treats.

At the age of 15, Piper became Britain’s youngest female singer to have a number one single with ‘Because we want to’ in 1998. She has since turned to acting and following a successful stint on Dr Who, Piper recently took up the role of Belle de Jour in the ITV2 series Secret Diary Of A Call Girl.

Fox, not quite as famous as his new wife, is best known for playing Kevin Whately’s Lewis in the spin-off from Inspector Morse.

HARRY POTTER star Daniel Radcliffe has fought off Hollywood’s A-listers reportedly including Heath Ledger, Joaquin Phoenix, Ryan Phillippe and Orlando Bloom to land the lead role in a new movie about a slain photo-journalist.
The 18-year-old Radcliffe will appear as photographer Dan Eldon in Journey, a film chronicling the civil war in Somalia. Eldon who was then also 22, was one of four journalists stoned to death by a mob in the African country in 1993. And Eldon’s mother Kathy believes Radcliffe was the perfect choice to play her tragic son. She says, “We resisted a lot of older actors because Dan was a boy emerging into manhood.”

A compilation of Eldon’s 17 journals and thousands of pictures on which the film is based - has sold 200,000 copies since being published in 1997,and a legacy that has won admirers including Madonna and Julia Roberts.

Actor Jude Law, reportedly  was left “shocked” after seeing a vision of the late Frank Sinatra raiding his hotel mini-bar after celebrating his 35th birthday at Havana’s Hotel Nacional de Cuba on Saturday last week.  Jude was so shaken about his unexpected birthday guest, he gingerly explained the situation to the night manager, who gave him a new room.

A hotel employee said: “Jude had no idea that Frank used to stay in the same room. You could see he was really spooked by his sighting. He’d sampled lots of the hotels rum cocktails to celebrate his birthday so he thought it was just a drunken vision. But when we told him of the situation, he came clean about seeing the ghost.

“He swore he saw Frank crouched at the mini-bar, rummaging through the bottles and snacks.”

The source added to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “Poor old Jude was relieved when we finally put him in a different room, although we didn’t dare tell him that Winston Churchill used to stay in it, just in case.

“We didn’t want Jude to worry about the former British Prime Minister stealing his cigars!”

Jude spent Christmas at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba with ex-wife Sadie Frost and their children Rafferty, 11, Iris, seven, Rudy, five and Frost’s 17-year-old son Finlay.

While nobody likes having their hotel mini bar emptied out in this case all seems to be forgiven. The Law family have now added their holiday pictures to the hotel’s Bar Of Fame, and have drawn an arrow from their pictures to those of the late Rat Pack singer.

Nicole Kidman’s Australian press representative says  ’she is not pregnant’.

This episode of Nicole expecting a baby was first started by the usually reliable U.K.’s Daily Mail, which said that Kidman, 40, had told friends and family members over Christmas that she and her husband of 18 months, Keith Urban, were expecting their first child together.

But the Melbourne Herald Sun quotes Kidman’s Australian publicist as denying the Mail’s story.

“It is incorrect,” the spokeswoman tells the paper. “She must have had about 30 babies by now.”  She said sarcastically. 

Personally I still give it a 30% chance the Daily Mail story is true and Nicole is pregnant.

Lauren Conrad was spotted locking lips with Stephen Colletti, her ex from their days on Laguna Beach, at LA’s Central on Saturday night.
After arriving together Conrad and Colletti stayed locked at the hip to each other all night, flirting and chatting. They were later spotted making out by the bar after Colletti carried Lauren there from the dance area. (Conrad, of course, is no stranger to the dance floor having recently had a dance-off with Heidi Montag.)  Is Lauren rekindling her high school romance or was it just one for old times sake?

On Sunday (photo on top right)  Lauren Conrad continued the party circuit joining with Whitney Port, Audrina Patridge, and Dave Navarro to  attend The Hills Host an Evening at LAX Nightclub pre-New Years party.  No hook-up reports for Lauren, at this party yet.

Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan and fiance Michael Bolton are having a romantic Christmas holiday in the Caribbean island of St. Bart’s.   But what about their maggiage?  Nicollette Sheridan admits in a recent interview that there is only one thing holding up their plans to marry:

“We haven’t decided where, and as soon as we make that decision it will happen very quickly.”

The where part may not be a search for just the right venue though.  It may come down to working out where will be home.  Michael, 54, lives on the East Coast and Nicollette, 44, lives in LA. 

While the logistics still need to be worked out, Sheridan is sure she wants to start a family. “I would like a baby,” she says, though she is reluctant to say if the couple are trying.

Nicollette and Michael first dated in 1993 for around 18 months, just after she had split up from LA Law actor Harry Hamlin (a marriage that lasted only two years) and a couple of years after Michael’s 15-year marriage to fitness instructor Maureen McGuire had ended. Their affair then reignited in 2005 after she split from her fiancé, Swedish actor Niklas Soderblom. The twosome, have been engaged since March 2006.  How exactly did they get back together?  “That’s an amazing story. The universe truly conspired,” she says enigmatically.  Neither of them will explain more.

Of Bolton, 54, she says: “Michael is a wonderful human being. He has brought me a profound love and support. He is an amazing sounding board for me. I am the happiest now I’ve ever been in my life, feeling more grounded than I ever have.”

She adds, “For me there’s only been one person, and that’s Michael.”

Britney Spears has expressed her disappointed in her sister Jamie Lynn Spears for getting pregnant at 16-years-old.  Britney said she warned her sister to not jump into the “adult” world while she was still young. “I’m really disappointed in her. I told her over and over just to be a kid and let the adult things like sex and drinking and all that wait.”

“I just can’t believe she’s pregnant,” the 26-year-old added. “She’s way too young to be a mom.  She should be having fun and stuff, not having a baby.”

Meanwhile, Britney needs to cope and deal with her own problems, or soon go to jail.  The attorney for Kevin Federline says he wants to depose Britney Spears soon, the latest step in the former couple’s ongoing child-custody battle.

“Britney Spears will have her deposition early (next) year,” Mark Vincent Kaplan told People late Saturday outside a Beverly Hills restaurant. “We’ve got a lot to talk about.”

Spears, 26, called in sick to a court-ordered deposition Dec. 12, although she was photographed that day driving with a friend.

“She was, in fact, out later that day and night,” Kaplan said. “It’s not fourth grade where you get a doctor’s note and it’s all OK.”

Britney Spears also faces fresh frustration today as her ex-husband was spotted cosying up to party pal Paris Hilton. Paris hit LAX nightclub with her sister Nikki Hilton. She then spotted Kevin Federline at a VIP table with his family and friends. Hilton and Federline danced together before Paris grabbed her sister and headed to nearby Pure nightclub, where they were hosting their own party.
