Diana Ross’ father FRED has passed away

It’s been a bad month for celebrity parents. Motown singing legend Diana Ross’ father Fred passed away Tuesday morning in Detroit at the age of 87. “He touched many lives and he will be truly missed,” she said in a statement. “I love him very much.” She first announced the news at the end of her performance last night and finished the show by singing the title song of her latest CD, “I Love You,” which she dedicated to her father.  Diana flew to Detroit hours later to mourn with her brother Chico.
