First the court story.  Nicole Kidman testified at the New South Wales Supreme Court on Sunday in Sydney, Australia. She gave evidence in a defamation case against photographer Jamie Fawcett after being called to court by Fairfax Media, publisher of the Sun-Herald Newspaper.  Nicole, 40, told Judge Carolyn Simpson that she was “really, really scared’’ while being chased by Fawcett.

“My driver said that they were driving crazy and that they had run red lights and jumped the median strip,’’ she added. “I was frightened and I was worried about a car accident.’’

In a very recent interview Nicole Kidman saying she had two miscarriages while married to Tom Cruise.  Shortly after their wedding at the end of 1990, she says she lost her first child by Cruise because of an ectopic pregnancy - a condition in which an embryo starts to develop in a fallopian tube instead of in the womb.

Speaking in the latest issue of Marie Claire magazine, the 40-year-old says she finally managed to become pregnant again. But that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage around the time Cruise filed for divorce from her in 2001.
She adds that from the time she married Cruise “I wanted to have babies”. Two years after the end of her first pregnancy, the couple adopted Isabella. Connor followed two years later.  Nicole insists she still does not know why Cruise abruptly ended their marriage, petitioning for a divorce in February 2001.
