Katie Couric Get’s Back at Dan Rather

Awhile back retired news anchor Dan Rather shared his insights as to why Katie Couric’s “CBS Evening News” format was floundering. He referred to his successor as ”a nice person,” but said ”the mistake was to try to bring the ‘Today’ show ethos to the ‘Evening News,’ and to dumb it down, tart it up in hopes of attracting a younger audience.”
The alleged tart has finally gotten even.

In an earlier video that surfaced last month, Rather was seen obsessing over his appearance before a remote broadcast — particularly questioning the wearing of an overcoat.

In this video we find Katie Couric i preparing to shoot an outdoor segment and while waiting to film she begins to ham it up. She imitates the way Dan Rather obsessed on his clothing and appearance in an exaggerated manner, and then declared “this tart is ready to go”.
