Katharine McPhee engaged

Reportedly (again) American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee is engaged to actor Nick Cokas, . There has been much speculation as McPhee 24, recently has been showing off a ring from Cokas, 43. They have been dating for more than a year.

They met in 2005 when both were performing in a theater production of “The Ghost and Mrs. Muir”. The two are now collaborating on an independent film titled “The Last Caller”, a dark romantic comedy which will be produced by Cokas and star McPhee.

The former Idol contestant says that they share a love of all things business and enjoy attending meetings together. McPhee, whose debut CD came out earlier this year, is currently filming the Anna Faris comedy I Know What Boys Like.
