The Emirates Today newspaper reports that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have bought their own man-made island off the coast of Dubai. The island is one of 300, shaped like a map of the world, off the coast of Dubai. The newspaper said representatives of the stars in the US had confirmed the purchase but the development firm declined to comment.
The new development (of Islands) called “The World” will include Celebrity neighbours such as Rod Stewart, millionaire Richard Branson, footballer David Beckham and Tommy Lee who have also been rumoured to have bought into the project. The islands, are reported to be fetching up to $50 millions each. 
Brad and Angelina “intend to showcase ecological issues with their reclaimed plot of sand”.  Also interesting, the island they picked has the shape of Ethiopia, the country where their adopted daughter Zahara was born.
