Hugh Grant & Elizabeth Hurley ’skulking about’ in NY

Hugh Grant and ex-girlfriend and now married Elizabeth Hurley are going to great lengths not to be seen and photographed together.
The pair were spotted in arrivals at JFK airport in New York - but took great pains to avoid being seen together. Hugh left JFK airport using a different exit then Liz, and arrived at the same hotel in the early evening about 2 minutes apart. An hour later, Hugh emerged from the hotel, having changed into a black suit, and walked a few blocks down the road. Just minutes afterwards a car arrived to pick Liz up and she hopped into the vehicle. In a bizarre scene, the car then drove two blocks, picked up Hugh on the street corner and headed to a dinner party hosted by Valentino. Two blocks from the party, you guessed it, Hugh got out so they wouldn’t be seen arriving together.
The pair had lunch together the next day and used the same tactics to arrive and leave separately. The funny thing is it’s well known the former couple are great friends. In October, Hugh joined Elizabeth, new husband Arun Nayar and five-year-old son Damian on a family holiday in the Maldives. I think they are just trying to avoid stirring things up by being seen together but of course in the process it creates a lot of curiousity.
