Prince Harry dumped by girlfriend Chelsy Davy

Prince Harry allegedly has been dumped by now ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy,  ending their three-year romance.

News of the World (a UK newspaper) reported Sunday that the Zimbabwean-born Chelsy Davy, who has been attending college in England while dating the prince, finally broke off the relationship this week after losing patience with his playboy lifestyle and lack of commitment to her.

The relationship began to unravel in a series of emotional telephone calls earlier this month between Leeds and Lesotho, where Harry was meeting AIDS orphans being cared for by the charity he set up.  The final straw  may have been when the prince snubbed her 22nd birthday to go to the Rugby World Cup Final in Paris with mates.

Clarence House, the official residence for Prince Harry where he lives with his father Prince Charles and his brother Prince William, declined to confirm the report, saying it doesn’t comment about the royals’ private lives.

The prince was seen consoling himself with a mystery brunette at a London nightclub on Friday.
