Kylie Minogue cancels upcoming world tour
Posted on November 4th, 2007 by Hot MommaKylie Minogue has reluctantly cancelled her upcoming world tour. The pop singer, had planned a tour to mark her upcoming 40th birthday next year, but has cancelled on the advice of her doctors.
Kylie called the move “heartbreaking”, but concedes it is “too soon” after her two-year long battle with breast cancer.
She says, “The tour is not going to happen, it is far too soon. I can’t do it next year. It kind of breaks my heart because that is what I’m in this business for. Not being able to go ahead with my plans is a real downer.
Minogue had to pull out of her Showgirl tour after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 . Just a few weeks ago Kylie was promoting the launch of her DVD “White Diamond.” which followed her recovery from cancer.
We all hope Kylie’s recovery continues to go smoothly and look forward to seeing her on tour when she’s ready.
