That’s my way of saying something positive when I really want to say “what were you thinking when you dressed yourself this morning”. While I appreciate Adrien Brody and his risk taking style, there are times when it kinda goes wrong. This is one of those times. He wore about one plaid piece too many at last night’s Energie/Miss Sixty flagship store opening in NYC. Also, the hair is a bit too plastered to his head, just saying. Well he looks happy with his look so I guess he wears it well?  That’s Musician Miri Ben Ari with Adrian in second pic.

After a long battle with kidney cancer, Denise Richards’ mom, Joni, died this week.

Reps for the “Wild Things” star confirmed the sad news. The family stayed at her mother Joni’s side the last two weeks of her life at a hospital in Long Beach, California.

Denise has endured a tumultuous family life, having been involved in a contentious custody battle with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, ever since they divorced last year.   And she has stated that “Life is to short and she just wants too be happy.”

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I hope Denise’s daughters Lola and Sam can bring her comfort during this sad time.

Evel Knievel, the hard-living American motorcycle daredevil whose exploits made him an international icon in the 1970s, died on Friday, aged 69.

Knievel had been in failing health for years, suffering from diabetes and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable condition that scarred his lungs.

Knievel had undergone a liver transplant in 1999 after nearly dying of hepatitis C, likely contracted through a blood transfusion after one of his bone-shattering spills.

His death was confirmed by his granddaughter, Krysten Knievel.

Hulk Hogan has responed to the divorce papers he was served. And Hulk is mad, hulk smash … you get the idea. He’s going to fight Linda on alimony and child support. Their troubled son Nick is still 17, so technically Linda could get some child support if Nick lived with her. Hulk says Linda is able to support herself, and notes that they have two houses and their assets should be divided equally between the pair.

In the court filing, Terry Bollea, 54, contested everything from his wife’s alimony and custody claims to the couple’s marriage date. Linda Bollea’s petition lists it as Dec. 12, 1983, while Terry Bollea says it was Dec. 18. Terry Bollea had it right: Public records show they were married Dec. 18, 1983. According to court documents, Terry and Linda Bollea separated about a month after their son Nick’s Aug. 26 car wreck, which critically injured his friend and passenger, John Graziano.

Linda Bollea, 48, is seeking an unspecified amount of alimony and child support. She also wants custody of their son, subject to “liberal visitation” with his father. But in his counter-claim, Terry Bollea said his wife is capable of supporting herself and helping support their son, 17, who will be a minor until July. The petition also says Nick Bollea is old enough to decide with whom he will live and that “it would be in the best interest for the parties to have shared parental responsibility.”

All this infighting for divorce assets may be for naught. The likely legal liability the Bollea family will be facing when John Graziano’s parents sue them for the car crash Nick caused that turned their son into a vegetable may leave them penniless?

“Dancing With the Stars” winner Helio Castroneves and 19-year-old hoofing partner Julianne Hough were spotted Wednesday night at Tao in midtown having dinner. And Gatecrasher’s Ben Widdicombe reported Thursday, the duo looked seriously smitten with each other, canoodling at a side table surrounded by pals.

Last week, Helio and Julianne were spotted giggling and teasing each other while shopping for matching Ritmo watches together in Beverly Hills at the David Orgell store.

Julianne Hough is getting somewhat of a reputation as a maneater.  The 19-year-old allegedly broke up 32-year-old Helio Castrnoves and his fiance Aliette Vazquez.  Earlier this month, actor Kevin Connolly reportedly gave her a diamond and 18-karat white-gold ring, and it’s said that she took the ring and told him that they were just friends!  Last season she ended her own engagement prompting rumors that she was having relations with her partner, Apolo Ohno.  She’s awfully young to be getting such a reputation! 

Meanwhile the two-time “Dancing With the Stars” winner has signed a deal with Universal Music Group Nashville to record an album, according to CMT.com. Julianne will begin recording her album in Nashville in December and will release her first single on Mercury Nashville next year.

There have been rumors of this for a few days but it looks like Lindsay Lohan did dump Riley Giles shortly after the two returned to Los Angeles on Nov. 25 (following their holiday weekend on the East Coast ). She made it pretty clear when they got home that “It’s over.” And the reason? “She got tired of him pouting all the time,” says a Lindsay pal.   “All her pals hated him,”  “They thought he was a hick!”  (or a word that rhymes) What’s more, ”He was riding Lindsay’s coattails.  He couldn’t even cough up a $20 bill when the pizza guy came!”

Giles claim that he was a professional snow boarder, also seemed to be false and Lohan was embarrassed by the fact that Riley lied to her in rehab claiming to be something he was not.

Meanwhile rumors are that Lindsay Lohan is strapped for cash or very greedy. Lohan reportedly tried to sell staged Thanksgiving dinner photos that included her mother Dina, sister Ali, her brothers and then boyfriend Riley Giles to many of the celeb weeklies. Her asking price began in the six-figure range before dropping to $20,000.

Although her photos didn’t earn her any money (and her rep denies the entire incident), word is that her Black Friday shopping trip did payoff. Lohan was photographed shopping at an Armani Exchange and Intermix store in Manhattan on Nov. 23, and a source close to the rehabbed starlet says the trip wasn’t just pre-arranged to give the paparazzi a heads up, she was paid for the visit, too. “Seems like everything Lindsay does is to make money,” said the disillusioned source.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have their apartment up for sale in New York’s Greenwich Village.

The Greenwich Village property, which the 21-year-old twins have never lived in, boasts 12 rooms & was bought for a $7.3 million, has just gone on the market for a cool $12 million.  And that would be a cool 4.7 mil profit if it sells at list price! That’s on top of the fact that Mary-Kate and Ashley have been renting out the luxury condo since they first bought it for $35,000 a month.  I guess it takes money to make money and they are a couple of smart cookies business wise.

 It has twelve rooms, one of which is a 53ft entertaining room with a center fireplace. It has a private elevator, two 100 square foot walk-in closets, and views of the Hudson River.

According to the real estate website, the 5,725 square foot apartment has some of “the most spectacular water and city views in all of Manhattan through 53 large picture windows.”

Four additional bedrooms, a powder room, four full marble baths, plus 24 hour doorman, concierge and in-house valet.

Well Thanksgiving is over, so what’s the next publicity opportunity for d-list stars? Jumping at an easy photo op. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt took full advantage of the chnace to pose with Santa and pick out their Christmas tree.  Wearing matching Santa hats, the  ‘couple’ finally settled on a majestic 8-foot, native to California, Noble Fir.  Hope it lasts till Christmas.
