I feel they are making an example of Paris solely because she's famous. I have police officers in the family, and it is not uncommon for the lesser offenders to be released early due to overcrowding of facilities. I'm by no means a Paris fan, but I think being taken out of jail and forced to go back is way harsh. No normal un famous person would get house arrest for the crime. I like her but she needs to grow up. I would be upset too if I had to go to jail, BUT she would have been even more upset and spending more time behind bars had she killed or injured someone while driving under the influence. She needs to realize that what she did was really really stupid and she needs to learn from this, which she wont. She needs to pay her dues.
