Dezi was born on May 11 in L.A. and was named because of a running joke between Cuban-American dad Eric Cubiche, 33 and Jaime. He calls her “Luuucy” like Desi Arnaz on “I Love Lucy” when he comes home at night.

The couple were friends for more than nine years and dated for a year and a half before getting engaged in October, when Cubiche presented Pressly with a ring they had designed together. The new parents are in no rush to get married. “I do want to be a princess for a day,” Pressly told PEOPLE last year, “but it’s not necessary to do that before you have kids. A lot of women do it later.”
