After three years of parties, rehab and bad clothing choices, Mary-Kate Olsen is back to work as a cast member of the Showtime program “Weeds,” her first major acting job since “New York Minute.”

“Weeds,” whose third season premieres August 13, is about a suburban California widow (Mary-Louise Parker) who starts dealing pot to make money. Olsen will play a straight-laced girl who falls in love with Parker’s son (from whom Mom’s illegal habit will be hilariously concealed).
