“LOST” To Disappear Entirely

So the big news this week has got to be that “LOST” is going somewhere: Specifically, to 100 episodes, with the last 48 stretched over 3 seasons.
I’m not sure how to feel about it. On one hand, I love how deep we’ve gotten into the mysteries of an island… but is this the first time ever that a fictional show has been scheduled to end this far in advance? What’s next, Seattle Grace shutting its doors in 2 years?! On the other hand, these arbitrarily imposed limits might give series creators a new impetus to make things really interesting since they know they won’t have to drag out plots forever (I’m looking at you, “That ’70s Show” and “Friends”).
What do you think? Will you stick around for the rest of “LOST” now that you know where it’s going? (I mean, kind of.)
