Is This The Face Of A Bully?

So there are a lot of “Is Joel Madden an abuser?” posts out there, and not that I’m all about the Madden twins or anything, but let’s take a look at the facts. This is what VH-1 News had to say about the incident on Saturday night:
[A photographer] claimed that Madden struck her on the left breast with the heel of his hand… and suffered a welt on her chest from the incident that required medical attention.
In a video clip on TMZ that reportedly shows the confrontation, Madden, with his head down, holds [girlfriend Nicole] Richie’s hand as he leads her through the scrum of snapping flashes. He is heard repeating “Get out of the way!” as he brushes past the alleged victim; the photographer steps to the side but does not appear to fall or stumble as a result of contact with Madden.
Sounds a little fishy. I mean, if there’s a welt then that’s bad and he shouldn’t have lost his temper, but if he just was trying to protect Ol’ Stickbug and hit her by accident… I suppose we shall see. It’s not like Madden’s been sentenced to 60 days in county or anything.
What do you think? Are the paparazzi TOO invasive when they go in to get that shot? Should celebs be allowed a bigger personal bubble? Or none at all?

If he did indeed leave a welt I doubt he met it. Paparazzi need to lay off some. I know it’s their job & celebs have to deal with it. But they can cross a line. There is no reason to be right in their walkway. They can stand a few feet back & take pics.
I agree with you Joel isn’t the type to hurt others on purpose I know I’ve met him hes a really sweet guy the parparazzi need to back off yeah its their job but like the person above said give them space to walk dont get right up in there faces thats just rude and disrespectful.
