Posted on February 27th, 2007 by EllenLet the fancy household names have their Oscars! This weekend the Independent Spirit Awards allowed celebrities to get dressed up slightly less than Sunday night’s glitterfest, and make slightly more off-color jokes.
Host Sarah Silverman was the one making most of those off-color jokes while dressed in my old elementary-school uniform.
Kyle MacLachlan declares this to be a damn fine awards ceremony.
In her new movie “Black Snake Moan” Christina Ricci plays a teenage nympho who gets chained to stuff and gets some lovin’ from Justin Timberlake’s character. So you can’t blame her for showing up in this classy ensemble. Love the shoes!
Josh Hartnett came dressed as “Surly Post-Adolescent At Your Bank”…
…and Lucy Liu laughed at him.
Heath and Michelle prepare to star in their own movie, “Brokeback Stylist.” Sorry, sorry. I think her hair is adorable.
Amy Adams, why aren’t you a redhead any more?!
