Let’s Talk Some More About Britney’s “GI Jane” Moment…
I still can’t get those Britney Spears Friday night pictures out of my head! As a proud owner of a head of long hair myself, I can’t imagine what drove her to do it. Still, even if it were some kind of planned publicity stunt, you can hardly imagine a better one. Who can forget a face like this:
It’s hard to look at those and NOT see some kind of cry for help, or at least attention. I mean, if she really wanted to go bald, she could have done it at home (and from there dealt with the shock of, um, having no hair).
I hope she gets herself a nice wig really soon, otherwise we’ll be looking at this for a while. For now, I think Gallery of the Absurd put it best:
omg she looks so nasty… shes so fugly now…tak about white trash extream! i have long hair and a kid, and i cant imagine shaving my head like that, omg her poor kids probably dont even know who she is now. i think she so should have done that at home and not how she did it. shes just proving she should be locked away somewhere for a while. lil sp and jj are goin around sing “my moms gone crazy”. some one should step in and take away her credit cards, and all other monies until she gets everything together. lock it all away for the kids or something.
Does anyone notice in the pic of her with the shaved front portion of her head and the hair still attached in the back, that she is wearing a ring on her wedding finger!!!!
I think once again society is bashing something they really know nothing about. I believe that’s called ignorance. What would any mid 20′s superstar, tarnished with a failed marriage, and inexperience to motherhood be doing? I thinik everyone should back off, and give the girl a chance to breath. Let her fall down, but let her get back up. Who are we to criticize her? What would any of us do in her position?
