Target’s Latest (Overrated) Fashion Discovery

Today’s New York Times has a short piece on Target’s newest designer showcase, for New York duo Proenza Schouler. Now I love me some Target, but from what I see of P.S., I’m not sure I’ll be picking any up. Why would I want to patronize designers that make Kristin Davis look like a hooker, Marisa Tomei look as stubby as a pencil and Kirsten Dunst like a gofer?

Then again, maybe they just haven’t found their muse yet. Look at how great actress Amy Adams (“Junebug,” “Talladega Nights”) looks with the two designers at a CFDA nominees dinner. Mad cleave, but the deep blue is just perfect. Hmm…
