I was one of the people that followed the show and was shocked when he lost. At the same time I only voted a couple times for him just knowing everyone else was calling and I really thought it was going to come up Chris and Taylor coming in second, but it was really good T.V. I do think it might have been the best thing that happened cause he is on his own and sounds crazy great … has his album already came out?
What’s with the pregnant girl in the beginning of the video? And the kid? I don’t really get it.
But song’s catchy, though. He’s got a great fan base. One more thing: do you guys think he’s wearing too much eyeliner there?
The concept of the video is he goes to prison and leaves his pregnant girlfriend/wife, whatever, and the duration of the video shows him after he is out of prison, with his family.

i hear this song all the time and i love it and i didn’t even know it was him … looooove it. no american idol stigma for him. he’s a true musician : )
i totaly agree … this guy wont fade away like the rest of them.
He might be a “real” musician but his band is not who he recorded with but put together afterwards. Interesting none of his previous band made it with him. And he didn’t write the song…he wrote parts of it. Whatevah. If he can make, even as a Nickleback clone (blech!) more power to ‘em. the musci industry is tough and if he’s ballsy enough he’ll survive.
i luv this guy!!! he rocks, and man that vidio almost made me cry!! jokes…but it is realy sweet. and i think the best thing for thoses people who go on idol is not 2 win, they come out in the end way more popular then the dudes who won. oh yer chris is a hottie!!!
He’s such a sweet guy & an amazing performer! I can’t get enough of his album either! He will be(is already) a big success. I looooove him!!!
