Put the rumors behind, because Jessica Simpson and John Mayer made it official on New Year’s Eve. They attended Christina Aguilera’s party at New York City’s Hudson Hotel, and apparently an eyewitness told the New York Daily News, “He was scratching her back, they were kissing, it wasn’t subtle.”
They’ve been spending some quality time leading up to New Year’s Eve as well - they were spotted having dinner at The Mercer Kitchen, shopping together at Barney’s New York, and hanging out at the Comedy Cellar.
John Mayer and Jessica Simpson are reportedly staying together in SoHo at the Mercer Hotel…kicking off 2007 with a big bang.
