The Bachelor Saves The Day…

ABC’s newest Bachelor is quite a man.. an Italian prince, a pet cosmetics entrepreneur and now a life saver (sorta). Prince Lorenzo Borghese actually saved Salma Hayek’s (genetically perfect) butt…big time! The story goes like this: The sassy latina actress had borrowed over $50,000 in jewelry, from a NYC jeweler, to wear to a charity function. The woman who was bringing the jewelry to Salma actually forgot it in the taxi cab (and yes..she’s probably looking for a new job as we speak). Imagine leaving $50,000 worth of jewelry in a NYC taxi cab? It would be sooo gone right? Wrong! The next person to get into that exact cab was none other than his royal highness Prince Lorenzo Borghese. He saw the envelope with the name Salma Hayek on it and immediately called ABC (His show, The Bachelor and her show, Ugly Betty, both on the ABC network) and informed them that he had her jewelry. And the day was saved. He went back into his telephone booth, changed clothes and offered the first woman he saw a rose..it was beautiful…
