Cindy Margolis gives in to Playboy

Suprised? Not really. Cindy Margolis will be featured on the latest issue of Playboy which will hit your local news stand November 3rd. So why did she finally give in to Hefner? This is what she has to say on her website:
I just wanted to take a few moments to tell you how very proud I am of my Playboy issue and what it could represent to the families we hope to help. I am also very proud of all of you that have stood by me through this decision and continue to love and support me and my efforts.
As you know, I have always followed my mom’s advice and rejected Mr. Hefner’s offers over the years, however this year, I had an ulterior motive. With so many couples in need of help with their family building goals, I decided to use this opportunity to “pose for a purpose”. Part of the proceeds from the sale of my Playboy issue, will therefore go to RESOLVE, the National Infertility Association. It is my hope that we can raise enough money this way, to fund at least 20-30 families who are right now desperately trying to have a baby and have no other options. All three of my beautiful children were born with the help of infertility procedures and I simply could not pass up this opportunity to give something back for the precious gifts that I myself have received. So what part will go to charity?
As someone who is currently going through infertility issues, I completely respect her decision to do this. The fact that she turned posing for Playboy into something positive is wonderful!
Good for her! If I looked like that I would do it too! I struggled with infertility for years and I think what she is doing is awesome!

Is it just me or does the area around her midsection look cartoonishly airbrushed? She’s a gorgeous woman, but wow…. how fake does that look?
Perhaps her statement should be more specific, as adoption IS an option.
ranted, I COMPLETELY understand the desire to have a biological child; the experience being pregnant and giving birth. However, adopting presents it’s own array of unique experiences. (Internation adoption – meeting your child for the first time, possibly traveling to a foreign country, etc…)
Either way, I can empathize with both situations.

Yes, it’s cartoonishly retouched. And if you do retouching like myself, you’d see just how cartoonishly other places are retouched. The skin on her face, neck and chest look totally unrealistically smooth. They’ve reduced her belly button to a slight dimple. Who has that?
