O’Malley comes out
Posted on October 19th, 2006 by Hot MommaOk, no Grey’s Anatomy spoiler in this post… earlier today however T.R Knight announced to PEOPLE that he’s gay. Although rumors have been going arround, this was his first official annoucement. Hopefully he won’t get typecast into gay roles from now on since I think he does a pretty good job as a straight man on Grey’s. Incidentally, the fight between Dr. McDreamy and Isaiah Washington a few days ago started when Washington called Knight a “faggot” and McDreamy came to his defense. I’m sure that news just makes McDreamy… well, a little more dreamy.

Actually, I’ve always kind of thought that the O’Malley character comes across as a unrealized, closeted homosexual, and they could work it into the story well. Remember the whole “I am a man,” thing?
I didn’t see George well T.R. as being gay at all. He plays a straight guy so well I would be devistated if they worked that into the script he is as much my Mcdreamy as the actual Mcdreamy is! I was saddened to see he is actually gay. Like I really had a chance anyway..ha.
