Kate & Pete to Marry?

Has Kate Moss lost it?
Apparently Kate has decided even through all of Pete Doherty’s problems in the past, that she loves him and will spend the rest of her life with him.
She even is thinking of having a child with him.
There is a catch though.
He has to stay off of drugs (they can’t have a child while he’s on drugs) and remain with her at all times (by locking him up in her home).
Realistic? I don’t think so, but she feels it can happen. She has urged him to cancel the remaining dates on his tour, for fear he’ll fall back into old habits.
I wonder how long this ultimatum will work out, will Pete pick her or his band? Rehab or Kate?
Kate wants to run off to Jamaica, where they can have a clean start, and marry quietly.

She’s asking for trouble! I know people can kick drug habits, they do it all the time, but he doesn’t strike me as willing to do so. Besides, she shouldn’t have to give him an ultimatum- he should have offered to do it himself, on his own accord.
Kate’s a big girl and can take care of herself- I just hope her daughter doesn’t get shafted in this arrangement (or a new baby).

This whole affair is sad. I wonder if there’s a statistic detailing the number of single-mothers worldwide who became single-mothers due to the belief that somehow, someway, marriage and a family would straighten out their Effed-Up boyfriends?
