Breaking News: Official word in Anna Nicole’ son’s death…

Posted on September 27th, 2006 by Hot Momma

The death of Anna Nicole Smith’s 20-year-old son Daniel was caused by a lethal combination of methadone, Zoloft and Lexapro, pathologist Cyril Wecht has revealed to PEOPLE.

Wecht said the drugs caused the cardiac dysrhythmia that led to Daniel’s death. Wecht got the toxicology results from National Medical Services in Willow Grove, Pa., today.

“In my opinion it’s an accidental death,” Wecht tells PEOPLE Magazine.

What is methadone? I know the other two are antidepressants.

And an accidental overdose? How does that happen?

I think Methadone is what they give drug addicts to help them overcome their drug addiction.

That’s so sad. I can’t believe he was on 2 different anti-depressants at once. He was so young……

Methadone is given to heroin addicts to get off heroin. But that usally leads to a dependency on the methadone. I dont think he was an addict though. Sounds suspicious…..

Why would he be taking methadone? Everyone is saying he’s not in to drugs. So is there another benefit to taking methadone than for a heroin addict? It is incredibly sad.

I saw a 48 hours report a while back about this girl died from a methadone overdose, it was her boyfriends to help him get off heroin.

So sad to hear all this.
