She is a beautiful beautiful girl. I hope she gets the treatment she needs and is willing to get better. I just wish, for her sake, that the media would leave her alone and let her heal on her own terms and through family and close friends. Blowing Karen Carpenter all over the media didn’t save her…she ended up dying in the end.
Unfortunately thin is in and she isn’t the only one suffering from this disease/epidemic!

shes a brat, just watch one episode of the simple life….she made a fool of herself.

i hope she gets the help she needs and is able to recover. if nothing else for the young girls who look up to her. when you put yourself in the spotlight you have a certain degree of social responsibility- that is if your a decent human being who cares about the people who admire you.

yea by the way i know its a disease. but its also easy to diagnose. when your not eating and you no longer fit into adult clothing and your hair is falling out- you knwo you have a problem. take a stand and fight for your life. its not like she doesnt have the money or enough people around her for support. not to mention with her its clearly vanity.

anon 2:33- i am not a fan of her either nor do i like the way she acts or treats people. but i have to point out that anorexia is not about vanity, it is a severe psychological disease that is not caused by vanity but by very low self esteem. i don’t liker her personally but have compassion for her because she has a life threatening disorder. i hope she is able to get help before it’s too late.

Karen Carpenter as taller than Nicole, so her 83 lbs is worse than NR’s.

I do think Nicole needs serious help…being called “chubby” can turn some women into complete basket cases…..I am feeling like a complete moose these days, and I know anyone would look at me and say I’m crazy.
