Seasoned Saturday Night Live cast members, Chris Parnell, Horatio Sanz and Finesse Mitchell have all reportedly been ‘let go’ from the late night comedy skit show. Zap2it.com reports:
The cast of the venerable NBC late-night show will feature only 11 regulars for 2006-07, down from 16 last season. In addition to the previously announced departures of Tina Fey and Rachel Dratch — who are working on NBC’s prime-time comedy “30 Rock” — eight-year veterans Chris Parnell and Horatio Sanz have been let go, as has Finesse Mitchell, who’s been with “SNL” since 2003.
How disappointing! SNL will NOT be the same without Chris Parnell…Lazy Sunday will live on forever!
In other SNL news, Dane Cook will be the guest host on September 30th when the show returns for it’s 32nd season.
Parnell??! WTF?! Why would they make such an error in judgement? First Barbara Walters cocks up The View, now Lorne Michaels pulls this stunt? Stop jacking with my tube time, people!!
SNL hasn’t been the same for years. It needs to just end the misery, already.
