Joe Simpson cashes in AGAIN!

Jessica Simpson’s manager father Joe is cashing in on his daughter’s movie success by opening a new restaurant chain, called Daisy Dukes. The former minister will reportedly launch the barbecue-style diner chain in Sin City, before opening others across America. An insider tells Life & Style magazine that Simpson hopes to open the first Daisy Dukes next year and is hoping his busty daughter will make promotional appearances there. Daisy Duke is the name of the character Jessica played in The Dukes of Hazzard movie.

In fact a quick search brings up that there is a trademark case filed.

After more looking into it, the filling is over the website domain, DaisyDukes.com.
The trademark rights to the restaurant is from a guy that lives in the New Orleans area. I don’t think Joe Simpson is going to open a Restaurant called Daisy Dukes. He may open a restaurant and name it something else though.

I don’t think the name will stick since there’s already one restaurant that I know of in Tempe, AZ that is already named that.

i have a feeling one day this will all be the downfall of their family. all of the greed that has grown in this family will eventually come between them. its kind of a shame.
