R.I.P. Crocodile Hunter…

Posted on September 5th, 2006 by Hot Momma
R.I.P. Crocodile Hunter... Lovable croc hunter, Steve Irwin died over the weekend from a stingray attack. Irwin was filming a documentary when the attack occurred, as it turns out his death was recorded as well. According to the cameraman, “It (the footage) shows that Steve came over the top of the ray, and the tail came up and spiked him here [in the chest] and he pulled it out. And the next minute he’s gone. That was it. The cameraman had to shut down.”

He will be missed.

My son is so very upset, he has watched Steve since he was a toddler, his love of animals (and hopefully a career) came from that man. He will be greatly missed in our household.

let us celebrate his life and his courage. he had absolutly no fear when it came to wild life. he had dreams and he made them come true. may he rest in peace. he lived by the wild and died by the wild.

Steve was an amazing man and hero to many including me and my kids.
My heart goes out to his wife and children who he loved more than life itself. Rest In Peace Steve, you will be missed very much.
