Although she’s still being treated for a bruised vocal cord, a hoarse Jessica Simpson managed to belt out her latest single, “I Belong to Me,” and her previous hit, “With You,” on NBC’s Today show this morning. Between songs, she sipped an unknown syrup-like medicinal beverage and could only whisper during a brief interview with Matt Lauer. “It’s a miracle that I’m actually singing right now!” she exclaimed. |

It’s a miracle she has a singing career! I think she sounds horrible. Anyone ever watch her sing? Her faces, and the force in which she has to belt her voice out is horrendous.

She’s actually a very good singer and i think she just makes bad song choices and single choices. If you listen to any of her old stuff, you can clearly see that she can sing.
I think she’s got a great voice, I just don’t like her music.
im not trying to be a hater (haha) but her voice sucks. sure, anyone can sound good on a digitally enhanced album- if youve heard her in person you know she cant sing.

Jessica has a very good voice. I remember hearing her first single, I Wanna Love You Forever, and thinking to myself what a voice! Since then, she hasn’t been given the right songs to suit her voice. But she can sing. And I still want to see her and Nick get back together. They were made for each other.
