Wondering how Kevin Federline and Britney Spears have kept their relationship alive? Chalk it up to patience — on his end. “She thought she could play me,” he explains of their early days in GQ’s September issue (on newsstands August 22). “She was playing games, testing me to see where my head is at, see if she could get away with this or that.” Federline said he stuck it out through the relationship’s rocky start and proved to his future wife that he was interested in the woman, not the fame. The dancer-turned-rapper also revealed to GQ that he toilet-papered 98 Degrees’ tour bus, aced the GED — “Not that it’s the hardest thing in the world” — and has a collaboration with Britney recorded and ready to roll. “After she has the baby and gets skinny, we’re gonna hit ‘em with this sh–,” he said.

Look, I just had a baby a few months ago and even though I have been working hard at it, I’m not yet “skinny.” If my husband was putting something off until I got skinny after having his kid, that would make him a really mean husband who’s obsessed about how I look.

It’s so lame of him to say that she was playing games and testing limits as they were getting together — he was in a relationship with two kids at the time, so it’s not like he was an upstanding example of romantic integrity.
So it is all dependent on Britney getting skinny? Let’s hope it never happens. I would pay good money for Starbucks to put pure bacon fat in all her drinks.

After she gets skinny, WTF?! What a jerk! How about after he gets some talent, after he gets a shower, a shave, a flatter stomach, a better wardrobe, better manners, a life, I could go on for days!

I can’t believe he had the nerve to brag about acing his GED. What a laugh! I also can’t believe that he had the nerve to make the comment about her getting “skinny”. Maybe she should say, “When Kevin gets some talent and takes a shower…”
