Divorce can be so ugly…

NO surprise last week when blink-182 drummer Travis Barker filed for divorce from his wife, former Miss USA Shanna Moakler. The couple, who star on MTV’s “Meet the Barkers,” have fought in public for months. One friend of Travis says he finally ended the marriage because “Shanna is never home . . . She parties every night, sleeps until 1 p.m. every day, and doesn’t spend nearly enough time with the kids. And on top of that there have been rumors she hasn’t been faithful. He’s had it.” Barker, via a rep, said, “I’m sad to say those allegations are true . . . My priority will remain my children.” The couple have two kids together. But Moakler, via her rep, said: “I have been 100 percent faithful in my marriage and a devoted mother, two facts of which Travis is well aware. I still happen to be very much in love with Travis, and his using the media to take low blows at me isn’t just embarrassing, it’s hurtful. I feel he should be putting his family first instead of his pride.” To which Barker responded, “The truth will prevail.”
Wow..I think I need to change professions! What with all the celebrity break-ups and divorces, being a Hollywood Divorce Lawyer never seemed soo lucrative!

I liked her on the show. She did sleep ALOT though. He seemed to act like a baby. He was always messing up her hair and putting food on her face. It reminded me of a teenage romance.
Unfortunalty, they have two small children and she has her older daughter from Oscar De la Hoya…so it is them who will be hurt the most.

I agree with you guys. She did sleep a lot. She never wanted to go for a walk with Trav & the kids. I did like her still though. She made me laugh. I remember in the eppy when she came back from the hospital with Alabama she asked how the baby was doing. Then she said Oh, she slept good? Ok, I’m going back to lay down. I was like whoa.
Well i really liked them together. They really seemed to love each other. I hope they get back together
Is that a tatt of Shanna around his neck like a necklace pendant? We read that Jenna was turned off by Dave Navaro’s tattoo of CE… Wouldn’t this be the ultimate ‘in your face’? How could you even look at his face without seeing HER…

She used to be a Miss USA?!! I thought she was just a B-list (D-list?? hahah) actress.
I’m sorry but this couple was always a case of fame before love to me. In other words, these two would never be together in “real life”. She’s the type of girl who would never give guys like him the type of day in high school.

She was so lazy!! He’s the one that actually played with the kids!!! While she slept(all day). She nothing but a lazy girl!! I feel no pity for her. I hope he gets custody of their 2 kids.
I thought she came across very lazy! But then again, you never know how much of that is TV editing. Then again, he himself said she sleeps in until 1 PM. What kind of life is that for your childre?
I watched their show with an open mind and ended up liking Travis and hating Shanna.
She needs to wear a bra. She is a mess and seems to have no friends, no mystery there.
