Attractive parents are more likely to…
Have a girl as their first born kin.(I guess I know where I stand!)
Behold exhibits A & B:

Here’s the article:
“According to research, attractive parents are 74 per cent more likely to have a daughter than a son as their first child,” reports The Sunday Times of London. “It is an inexorable process that has resulted in women becoming increasingly more attractive than men. This is because of differing ‘evolutionary strategies’ that each sex has adopted to survive, claim researchers at the London School of Economics.…”We have shown two things,’ said Dr. Satoshi Kanazawa, who led the research. ‘Beautiful parents have more daughters than ugly parents, because physical attractiveness is heritable and because daughters benifit from attractiveness more than sons. We have also shown that women on average are more attractive than men…’ ” The study, published in the Journal of The orentical Biology, analyzed more than 20,000 people in America.

Can’t be true. Tom Cruise had a girl!
What a load of crap….
Or maybe I’m just bitter because my first born is a boy!;-)
I’ve had 4 girls!!
my first born is a girl, and i’ll be the first to say that i would not be considered “attractive”.
That is complete bullshit!
I guess The Beckhams, and Kelly Ripa and her husband, or the Stefani-Rossdalea are not attractive people./….
What a load of crap.
I totally agree, what a load of BS (this coming from a gal pregnant with her first – a boy!).
hmm…I had b/g twins…where do I stand?
Let’s see, good looking people who have had boys:
Elle McPherson
Kate Hudson
Liv Tyler
Gwen Stefani
Cindy Crawford
Elizabeth Hurley
Kelly Preston
Jada Pinkett Smith
Shania Twain
Catherine Zeta Jones
Yeah, I don’t agree with it either! The sex of a baby is a chance type thing…not how cute the parents are.
Hot Momma, you are beautiful! Don’t worry about what that thing says.
I don’t see how the sex of a child and its birth order can possibly be affected by the parents’ looks. It doesn’t make scientific sense. (Plus there are lots of typos in the article.)
As for the study finding “that women on average are more attractive than men” — I wager the researchers were men and perhaps a little biased!
Damn. I always knew I was smokin’ hot, but this just confirms it.
yeah, and that journal is top notch, right
And don’t forget Heidi Klum!
My husband and I have a 7 month old baby girl who is our first
Nice to know!
Hey! Don’t hate because you’re ugly.
It’s just an evolution thing.
both my parents and my husband’s parents must be attractive people (both had girls first) who had ugly children (b/c our first was a boy). my son, however, is breath-taking. i guess that means i can start preparing for my girl grandbaby.
that article is just silly.
I have 4 boys. Way to make me feel good!!
(
I might take this more seriously if the author knew how to spell “percent.”
Then again, I probably would not.
