Good Morning!!!

After a particularly rough, grumpy and tantrum riddled week, Nick and I went out for dinner. Auntie Ashely babysat so we could have (what could possibly be) out last real date out for a long time. I stuffed my face…Almond crusted chicken, Ribs, Calamari, New York Steak, Garlic Mashed potatoes and of course Ben & jerry’s American Apple Pie Ice cream for dessert. Stop the madness! I was at a 23 lb weight gain before this meal…we’ll see what happnes when I step on the scale tomorrow at my doctor’s appt.
P.S. My nose has totally exploded…see how wide it is! Ahhh!
I’ve been getting a ton of emails and comments lately asking questions about the pregnancy, baby, and the future of the blog…so I thought I’d take this opportunity to address them.
When are you due?
I’m due in 3 Weeks & 4 Days…woohoo! August 25th is the approximate due date..but of course…I hope to go early! However, I’m not getting my hopes up because I was two days late with Baz and the only reason he came out was because I did the whole ‘castor oil’ trick. (P.S. It works!)
Have you picked out a name yet?
Yes! We’ve had a girl’s name picked out ever since we were pregnant with Baz. Although I’m not going to reveal it..I will give you a couple of hints.
- It’s not common
- It’s not the name of a fruit or any other food for that matter. It’s enough that our last name is a vegetable!
- She will have two middle names, One will be my grandmother’s name (She passed away in January due to Ovarian Cancer) and the second middle name will be Hawaiian for “dew or mist”.
- There is a celebrity who shares MY name that has a daughter with almost the same first and middle name (spelled differently) as my baby girl.

What do you mean…out? I’m not going anywhere..I will blog from the hospital room if I have to! Haha! That’s a joke! I think I am going to give myself a break…but just for a short while, I’m way too over-protective of my blog to leave it for a long period of time. (Call me over-controlling…or just ask my hubby) Although, I haven’t set anything up yet, I’m planning on having a host of fellow bloggers step in and update for me. If you are interested in helping me out and have blog experience please email me and I’ll let you know what the duty entails. I’ll also need someone to moderate the messageboard and make sure it’s getting the exposure and updates as well.

I am due August 27th but because I have hypertension I have a scheduled c-section for August 25th! Although I am already going to the doctor once a week and could be admitted to the hospital at anytime!

Where do you get off being jealous of Heidi Klum’s glow? You look absolutely STUNNING! My mom gained 80-some pounds when she was pregnant with me, and I was 7lbs. 9oz. when I was born. You look happy and not uncomfortable, too. And don’t worry about the ice cream - my friend Michelle said she had a quart of peanut butter-chocolate AND a McDonald’s hot fudge sundae EVERY DAY of the summer when she was pregnant.
I was born on August 27th! Maybe baby girl will be born 2 days late like Baz =) Then you can give her a 3rd middle name “Valerie”. Hehe j/k. What’s the castor oil trick? I’ve never had a baby before.

I am happy for you, you look great! I gained an astounding 40 POUNDS when I got pregnant with my son. So that’s nothing what you gaind!
I am pregnant with a girl too, due August 18th! so we are neck and neck with our pregnancies.
I just hit 40 lbs and am horrified with myself, but what to do? this is our last so I am relived and can’t wait to get back to my old weight!

the 25th of aug is a great day thats because it is the day my little girl was born she will be 2 yrs old this month (its gone so fast) her name is ella michelle
You look great! I gained 45 pounds with my son who just turned 14 months. I’m pregnant with our second baby and I still haven’t lost all the baby weight from my son. I’m scared to see how much weight I gain on this one….I’m already feeling pretty bloated and my tummy is getting big.
