TMZ has learned that Ashlee Simpson has turned down a $4 million offer to pose for Playboy.

In Touch Weekly first reported the offer, and said the pop star was considering it. TMZ spoke with Rob Shuter, Ashlee’s publicist, who confirmed that Ashlee did indeed receive an offer to pose in the legendary men’s mag — but turned it down.

A source close to Ashlee told TMZ the offer was big — $4 million to be exact.

A newly glammed Simpson is currently on tour promoting her recent album, “I Am Me.”

Woody Allen is intimidated by Scarlett Johansson because she is so “sexually overwhelming.” The famous funnyman claims he finds it impossible to concentrate when he is around the stunning 21-year-old.

He explains, “It’s very hard to be extra witty around a sexually overwhelming, beautiful young woman who is wittier than you are. Anytime I say anything amusing, Scarlett tops me.”

Johansson describes the banter between the pair as an updated version of Billy Wilder and Marilyn Monroe’s routine, in which Allen plays a cranky old wise-cracking man with Johansson able to give as good as she get. She adds, “It’s our shtick”.

The pair hit it off on the set of Allen’s film Match Point, where they teased each other endlessly. Johansson claims she was shocked to find that Allen is “actually very sweet and thoughtful and romantic, in his own strange way”.

The show featured a HOT opening performance by Beyoncè with boyfriend Jay-Z, plus a surprise appearance by none other than Janet Jackson with her former “Good Times” family in a live, onstage reunion.

Actor Jamie Foxx was the front runner with a total of five nominations, followed by four nominations each for hip-hop stars Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott, and R&B singer Mary J. Blige.

Triple nominations went to Kanye West, Ne-Yo, and Chris Brown. Double nominees include Mariah Carey, Ciara, Ludacris, Keysia Cole, Anthony Hamilton, Mary Mary, Papoose, Rah Digga, Slim Thing and T.I.

After spilling the beans to People Magazine about her contractual (or lack thereof) negotions with ABC, Star Jones was asked not to return to work tomorrow. The former View Co-Host announced her departure from the show on Tuesday’s broadcast. Jones, was only scheduled to leave in September, however; her loose lips prompted the network to let her go immediately.

Hilary Duff was out in New York promoting her upcoming movie, Material Girl. She made an appearance on Live with Regis & Kelly and TRL. Besides the ultra tight tapered jeans..I’m digging her new look..slightly healthier looking with darker hair. It’s a good look!
