Us Weekly reports:On June 4, Britney Spears, 24, with 9-month-old son Sean in tow, picked up pink thongs at a Victoria’s Secret in Mission Viejo, California. Her next order of, uh, business? Changing Sean’s dirty diaper — on the floor next to the cash register! Says the source, “Britney then tried to hand it to an employee,” but the salesperson wouldn’t take it. |

its not that she changed him in public but more so that she expected teh sales associate to throw it away rather than doing so herself! To be honest I am amazed she knows how to even change the kids diaper!
I agree with both you guys. It’s not that bad as long as she had him on mat. But she also could have used a changing room, so no one could see her. Handing it to an associate? Yea right. I work in retail & would be disgusted by that.
Sorry, but there is a time and place to change a diaper, and at the cash register of a shop or at the table in a restaurant is not the place. Bacteria is easily spread. I worked in retail before and a woman tried to change her baby on the couch in the middle of my shop. NO MAT, nothing. I asked her to take the baby to a restroom and change him. She was not pleased. It takes just a few minutes to walk to an appropriate place.
I am all for walking to the car/truck/limo and changing the babe there! Come ON!
nobody wants to see/ smell your kid’s poop, PERIOD. i will go to a restroom, dressing room, car, whatever to change my kids. that’s poor manners and rude to those around you.
dude. as a fellow mama, you gotta have a little respect for the people. changing in public = nono. I’ll change my baby in the car if need be but NEVER in a public place like a store. Yikeys.
I have two kids and I would NEVER change a diaper in a public place like that! How hard is it to find a restroom?! I’ve changed diapers in the backseat of our car if all else fails. I think it’s just plain TACKY to change a diaper on the floor of Victoria’s Secret! Show some class, Britney!
The sales person could have put it up on ebay, I bet it would sell…oh wait now I just gave K-fed an idea!
I’m surprised that nobody has taken Sean from her. She’s turned into a complete pig! I don’t know of anyone who has any respect for her.

Hi all, I’m by no means a Britney fan, but usually if a “star” goes shopping don’t they close the store? If that was the case then nobody else but the help would be in there kwim? No defending her, she should’ve gone to the restroom, but just a thought. Also, I highly doubt she’d be able to change Sean in the car/van/whatever - the paparazzi would’ve been all over her & her son.

Okay, I’m not a mom so maybe I’m not as laid back about seeing dirty diapers all the time, but when I go out shopping the last thing I want to see is someone (famous or not) changing their babies diaper in a store. That’s why they have those changing stations in public restrooms!!!! It’s not about bacteria or a changing mat… Other people don’t want to see stuff like that!!!!

oh who the eff cares. its a diaper. if she kept the kid in a dirty diaper she would’ve had someone writing that she has a stinky baby. Diapers can leak and you have to change them on time. no where did it say it was poop, he was probably just wet. big woop
I’ve worked with kids so maybe i dont care. but its a baby, its not like shes got a 12 year old gettin naked in public.

Maybe it wasn’t the best PLACE to change him, but at least SHE is changing him, unlike these other Hollywood moms who are never even seen holding their babies!
Wait….people actuallyl think what she did was ok? Uh, if you change a baby you do it at a changing station. You do NOT walk into someone’s store and do something that unsanitary. That’s common sense! No wonder people call her a bad mom. I just think she’s too young (and too stupid).
joce and anon 6:56 you are exactly right. at least she changes him. i hardly doubt many other hollywood moms have ever seen a dirty diaper. and had she not changed it, then she would have been a bad mother for leaving it dirty. and puulleeeaasse there where no other customers in that store to see (the 9 months old) “stuff”. brit doesnt shop with everyone else (obviously).
and i also think there is probably some truth to the fact that people are now just on a witch hunt and looking for stuff to write about her. i could def see how this could be completely false. if we heard about every nasty, ungracious thing other celebrities did im sure we’d be a whole more shocked than poor brit changing a diaper.
for 1: there are TOO many freakin peophiles out there to do anything like that, and 2: have some respect for your children!!!
