Don’t see the Break Up…

No Really..DON’T…keep your $8.75 and buy some Cold Stone Creamery Ice Cream…at least the ice cream will leave you fulfilled. The movie was soooo anti-climatic that I was just counting down the minutes until the 2 hour romantic comedy (?) was over. However, I think it had more to do with the script than the actors. (Good news for Jen). And I will say that it renewed my faith in Vince Vaughn’s acting skills..his comedic timing was right on point. Everything else was just kinda blahhh.

I could NOT agree more! I am most definitely Team Aniston, but I went to see the movie last night w/ my husband and another couple and we all left thinking WTF?!? Why did we waste our money! I agree, too, that it had very little to do w/ the actors, and EVERYTHING to do w/ the writing! It was awful! I think Vince and Jen actually acted it well, but they weren’t given much to work w/ in the first place! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

well, it IS about a break-up… that’s what Vince Vaugn even said on Leno. I liked the movie though.
Regardless of it being about them breaking up, the movie was just slow and poorly written, IMHO.
The only thing that is bothering me is the amount of people stating that they are boring? Why are they boring? I think they are sweet together and she deserves happiness like anyone else -as does he. These people jumping down her throat because she didn’t want children need to realize that more goes on behind closed doors! There was obviously something else wrong in the relationship. No one can judge.
I certainly don’t think they are boring because they are trying to lead normal lives and do normal things.
Get your kids packed up and go see Cars instead…It is GREAT!!!
I LOVED it until… the scene where Vince tries to win her back (with the dinner) and she cries and says “I just don’t feel the same way anymore.” It ALL went to shit after that.
It COULD have been good… it was very frustrating.
