Chris Daughtry, former American Idol contestant, was seen having a heated argument with his wife outside their West Hollywood hotel. After arguing for over five minutes Daughtry’’s wife ran into the hotel only to emerge two minutes later and jump into a cab, closely followed by Daughtry.

Did you know that Deanna had a hysterectomy while Chris was on the show? She was terribly sick and he asked if she wanted him to come home. She said, No. Stay on American Idol. I have lots of people taking care of me and getting me through this.
That is some wife in my book! She seems very well adjusted and giving, supporting Chris in his dreams, even when any woman would want her husband by her side during a terrible time.
I am surprised Deanna looked so well and was able to come out to the AI5 Finale after going through so much just a month or so before this picture was taken.
He kept his family local to Greensboro, to keep stability for Deanna and the kids. I think that says a lot too.

I think it is sad that you went to the kids. First of all, when he married her, he took on her kids and they became their’s…..not just HER kids. He really seems to love her and I have to agree that it doesn’t even look like they are fighting. Don’t even get me started on the trailer trash…..WTH is that about? What in the world did the girl do to deserve being talked about like she is? I agree that during AI5, she was by his side all the way and they both seemed to be very in love. Chris didn’t seem like the cheating type and in my opinion, I would think it would take a lot longer for him to do so (if he was going to), then right off the bat. Having said that, let the people live their life the way they chose to. If they are seen in a public place really going at it and yelling at each other or things are being thrown….then we know they are fighting and for a reason. In these pictures, they seem to be just having a conversation between married people.

I live a couple miles from where Chris lived when he was on AI. He adopted her daughter because her real father died. No child deserves to be gone after, so leave them alone. She’s a great person. They are very happy, but they are still 2 human beings…real people. It’s great to have fun and gossip, but not if hurting people or their feelings.

Chris wears $300+ dollar jeans, so does his crew. They get their clothes for free, Deanna will have to do her own shopping. I have had the chance to hang out with these guys and they are each amazing in their own way. Fame blowing into a family (like chris’s) is hard, do you think they aren’t gonna fight? People need to realize that Chris is just like every other person and lives life with the same problems as everyone else. How would you feel if cameras followed ur every move, fight, family outting? What’s most hurtful to people in public view is not the comments about them, but those about their loved ones. Due to the nature of my career, I have a number of friends who are “celebrity”, and I’ve worked with many others during the past 10 years. Surprisingly, very few of them are what many expect them to be - rude, arrogant, self-centered….and are regular people trying to do what they love and cope as best as they can with the spotlight that follows them….everywhere. (this is now where the self-consciously defensive people say…”SO WHAT”)
As for the ignorant, disgusting, and immature comments that have been made here….well, I doubt very much that Chris would give a second thought to any of it. What all of you who make these comments don’t realize is nothing you say is taken seriously. This sort of behavior is very indicative of a person who has any or many issues such as low self-esteem, negative self-image, is ill-adjusted, and lashes out in a negative manner because of it. It’s referred to as “leveling”, and don’t bother trying to bash me about this…..it’s basic psychology, so say what you want, you’ll just further prove the point.
The internet is the perfect place for people like this to attack others, but unfortunately those with a healthy psyche need to weed through their crap to see if anything of value is to be found.
Incidentally, those of you who are making all of these nasty comments about the alleged “situation” between Chris Daughtry and his wife are playing right in to the whole tabloid mentality. Things like this are purposely embellished to feed people like you.
