As a mom with a child that has special needs, I am deeply offended that you would use something that my child and millions out there cannot control to attempt to be humorous. Am I being over sensitive? If you were with a child that cannot do the simplest of tasks and yearned to so badly, maybe you would be a bit sensitive too.

OH, now I fully understand your later post. Im sorry, us “Taymates” are really really rabid!

Just my 2c on Taylor….I think AI finally has the chance to crown a real artist, not just a singer, as the winner. I see a lot of kids on forums who don’t realize that there is a music world outside of MTV, get my drift?

Take a look at the pop explosion about 5 years back, yeah they made a lot of money right off the bat, but most of those acts are no where to be found now. At the same time there are acts that aren’t mainstream, flying *ahem* Under The Radar (no pun intended!) that don’t go 10x platinum but have longevity. Taylor is that type of artist, Ace is the former, Chris could possibly be the latter with Fuel.

Anways, I didnt mean to start anything up here again, but I just really wanted to say that about the whole potential sales/marketability thing! And Taylor was really good on the last episode, you may have even enjoyed him!

And I can’t stand Ruben.

Anon 4:27 No offense taken. But then again it takes a lot to offend me. Your statment (or example) is your view. I don’t personally agree with it..and that’s okay. For the same reason I allow anonymous comments on my site…people are entitled to their own views…it is the beauty of blogging.

Just by adding “in my opinion” to the front end of your saying doesn’t make it okay!

In my opinion, people who have children & are grown adults shouldn’t be spending their time trying to gather up celebrity dirt.

See how it can be a little offensive? It’s fine that you don’t like Taylor but don’t stab at people who do like him. I didn’t vote for Reuben & I’m voting for Taylor.

hotmomma you’re the best. with all do respect, i hope that you did offend these people enough for them to not come back here again. this should be a fun place to come to, not a place where people get so freaking butt hurt over a lighthearted comment and come out swinging. seriously you guys, if you don’t like what chrystie has to say then do not come back here. you guys need to have a bit of respect for a busy momma who puts alot of her time here to bring JOY and fun and laughs to people. again get some perspective!
