The Beckhams: Speaking of Mystic Tan...

Has anyone ever tried Mystic Tan? Ya see, a loyal HotMomma fan has written in with this problem: She’s getting married in 3 weeks and find herself with a horrible sunburn/ tan lines around her neck and chest. Should she get mystic tan before the wedding? What are you thoughts?

mystic tan has a special “brides” tan for the special day. im not sure if this one is a whole lot different but she should be careful .it might leave a light stain on the inside of her dress.. (especially if she is dancing or sweating… )

I believe Victoria/Posh is somewhat alien. How can you be skinner after three kids than when you were running around with Geri?

I’ve done mystic tan before…if she doesn’t do it the day of the wedding..she will have no problem with staining…once she showers that problem is solved. She has to be really careful when she applies the blocker though or she could have some strange tan lines around her feet and hands. It made my face break out and really made my pores look huge. Not sure if she wants that look right before she gets married…

OMG! I thought that was Vanessa Williams at first! She’s soooo brown and soooo skinny there!

On the Mystic Tan thing, I tried it before my wedding. Actually, I did it two weeks before to see how it looked and didn’t care for it on me but it completely faded before the wedding.

Tell your friend to do it now to see how it turns out. If she likes it she can do it again a couple days before the wedding (just don’t do it the day of - sometimes it needs touch-ups and it can stain!).

BTW, I got it done at that tanning place near Gold’s gym downtown (South St. I think?) and they were super nice. Email me if you want more info…

I did it two days before my wedding - perfect, no staining. We went on a gorgeous honeymoon in Fiji, and I looked like a native. (Well, not really, being blonde and all, but you get the idea….)

I love vic’s dress however she is quite possibly one of the scariest looking people ive ever seen. although the whole “not eating thing” is very hip now she seriously looks like she comes from another very orange world.

Use Nutrimetics “Natural Glow” - its a bronzing powder that will blend everything nicely! And any marks it makes on the inside of her dress will come out when its dry-cleaned.

the hand airbrushed works good…dont do the machine one. I did it about 3 days before going to Hawaii and I didnt even burn. I just got darker…and wore SPF 30. but wasnt trying to get a tan so fast since I had a good base color.
