I did it about 3 days before going to Hawaii and I didnt even burn. I thought that was Vanessa Williams at first! She's soooo brown and soooo skinny there! On the Mystic Tan thing, I tried it before my wedding. Actually, I did it two weeks before to see how it looked and didn't care for it on me but it completely faded before the wedding. Tell your friend to do it now to see how it turns out. If she likes it she can do it again a couple days before the wedding (just don't do it the day of - sometimes it needs touch-ups and it can stain!). She has to be really careful when she applies the blocker though or she could have some strange tan lines around her feet and hands. It made my face break out and really made my pores look huge. Not sure if she wants that look right before she gets married...
